About Mr. Smith

Jim Smith has been an educator for nearly a decade.  He has a bachelors degree from the University of Maine at Augusta, a Masters degree in Education from Thomas College, and a Doctoral Student at Northeastern University for Law and Policy.   Jim and his wife live in Belgrade and have 4 children, Paige (19),  Grace (16), Gweneth (3), and Andrew (1).  
After arriving at MMS in November and meeting all the students, he knew this position was a perfect fit.   Jim says, "Social Studies and teaching different learning styles and abilities ss exciting and watching the learning growth in each student makes it all worth-while".
